What these tools do with your data
Worth stating plainly, because “free tool” and “we are harvesting something” go together often enough to be a fair assumption.
- Nothing here asks for a signup, an email address, or a login to your site.
- The counters, the case converter and the salt generator run entirely in your browser. What you paste never leaves the page, which matters for unpublished drafts and for security keys.
- The tools that check a URL request pages the same way any visitor would. They change nothing, never attempt a login, and refuse private or internal addresses.
- The wp-config generator never asks for your database password. The file it produces leaves a placeholder for you to fill in locally.
- The error explainer sends what you paste to an AI model to produce the diagnosis. It is not stored afterwards, but strip anything sensitive out of a log before pasting it anywhere.
